08:00 a.m. : We will be met at Kusadasi port with our group sign and depart for a short
trip to Ephesus. Ephesus was undoubtedly one of the most important cultural centers of the ancient world. Impressive structures
we will see include the Library of Celsus, Temple of Hadrian, Theatre and Odeon. If we are permitted to enter, you will be
given the opportuntity to tour the magnificeint Terrace Houses. There will be an additional entrance fee of $10. WARNING,
since the Terrace Houses are on a hill there will be stairs to climb. Use your own judgement if you wish to participate. After
lunch break (included in price), we will also visit the Temple of Artemis, one of
the seven wonders of the ancient world. Next we will visit St John's Basilica, where St John's tomb is. Next we go into the
mountains, past orcahrds and vinyards to the village of Sirince. Along the cobblestone streets, local handicrafts are for
sale. Taste wine and olove oil. Turkish delight and other items for sale.
Return back to Kusadasi and ship at around 18.00.
